Other non-locally sourced herbs used for extracts have been carefully chosen from outstanding reputable companies and individual farms with a commitment to sustainability.
Herbs extracted in alcohol distilled from organically grown grapes, organic cane sugar, or organic grains. Over 80% of our extracts are made using organically grown or wildcrafted herbs locally sourced within 20 miles of ASHH. Many of our herbs come from Soulflower Botanical Sanctuary. Water used in alcohol extracts is sourced either from pristine Appalachian springs including one at Soulflower Botanical Sanctuary or Artesian well water from Soulflower.
The best way to take alcohol extracts is in 2 to 4 ounces of water. Room temperature water is best for absorption. However, if you have a sensitive physical system, feel free to dilute herbal alcohol extracts in tea or juice.
