Alchemy PhotoDiscover this ancient form of energetic herbal medicine involving fermentation, distillation, salt-work, astrological influences and alchemical deciphering! Alchemy is a practice which has been in existence in many parts of the world for over 2,500 years in recorded history (and is probably much older.) It is both a physical and energetic path which involves the making of medicines and vibrational tinctures in both the plant and mineral realm for healing and initiatic purposes.

You Will Learn:

We will focus on creating Spagyrics in the plant kingdom, which is referred to as The Lesser Work in the Western Esoteric Tradition. Explore the history of Alchemy, the Three Essentials, The Four Elements, Qabalah, The Doctrine of Signatures and basic Laboratory practice.

About the instructor: Vincent Wrenn began his alchemical studies when he came across The Hermetic and Alchemical Writings of Paracelsus in the mid-seventies. In 1985 he met and began his study of practical alchemy with Hans Nintzel, a member of the Golden Dawn and a long time student and friend of Israel Regardie and Frater Albertus at Paracelsus Research Society. In the eighties Vincent took a workshop with Arthur Fehres, a student of Frater Albertus and one of the founders of Paracelsus Research Society. From 1988-2002 he took course material and workshops with the renown french alchemist and author Jean Dubuis and the Philosophers of Nature. Vincent also studied with Kevin Townley who was the long term Qabalistic adviser for the BOTA and author of The Cube of Space.
