The Organic Growers School is a grassroots organization that grew out of volunteer efforts, with a mission to deliver very practical information about organic agriculture at a reasonable price. The first Organic Growers School was held in 1994, attracting just under 100 participants. By 2006, the school grew to over 1000 participants, drawing farmers, gardeners, and educators from 14 states, and becoming the largest event of its type in the South.
For over 30 years The Sandy Mush Herb Nursery has been collecting, propagating, and selling herbs, perennials, and other interesting plants. Our Handbook/Catalog contains close to 2000 varieties of plants including: Traditional Culinary and Medicinal Herbs, Scented Geraniums (94 varieties),Wild Flowers and other native plants, Perennials, Trees and Shrubs, Bonsai Plants and Much, Much More. We also carry wonderful, carefully selected books, seeds, and handy items.
