Pain is one of the trickiest areas for the modern herbalist; as we have developed greater access to systems of global herbalism, we have created a repertoire of effective and powerful pain remedies that are practical to use. Know how and when to use herbs in allaying pain. Learn about several of the most effective globally sourced herbal pain remedies. Contrast natural methods with drug methods, in terms of effect, side effect and practical use. With all these effective herbal medicines available, you don’t have to live with pain. You truly can feel the way you would like, day after day.

Karta Purkh Singh Khalsa, D.N.-C., R.H., has over 35 years of experience in alternative medicine, and is one of the foremost herbal experts in North America. He is a long serving national officer of the American Herbalists Guild, and a respected teacher, writer and lecturer who has presented at over120 national conventions and conferences. He has authored or edited 26 books, including The Way of Ayurvedic Herbs, with Michael Tierra, and Body Balance. K.P. Khalsa is a faculty member in the Botanical Medicine Department of Bastyr University, in Seattle, Washington, where he trains naturopathic medical students. He also serves as Senior Research Scientist and Chief Medical Formulator for Yogi Tea.
